Short answer: copy your AlertBolt webhook URL, paste it in the "Webhook URL" field of your TradingView alert, and turn on Telegram in AlertBolt. There is no workflow to build.

TelegramDiscordEmailPush

What you get to skip

TradingView sends an HTTP request to the webhook URL of your alert, but it does not talk to Telegram. The usual way is to build a chain: a bot created through BotFather, its token, your chat ID, then a Make or n8n scenario that receives the webhook, formats the message and calls Telegram. That chain is yours to maintain.

With AlertBolt the webhook is already connected to your channels. You paste one URL, choose Telegram, Discord, Email or Push, and you are done. If you need custom logic (filters, routing by symbol, connecting other apps), an automation tool is still a better fit: see the comparison.

AlertBolt vs Make, n8n, Pipedream and Zapier

Requirements

On the AlertBolt side

A Pro, Elite or Business plan. Pro: $19.99/month, 14-day free trial. Elite and Business: 7-day free trial. Premium and Freemium do not include the webhook.

On the TradingView side

A paid TradingView plan (webhooks are not available on the free plan) and two-factor authentication turned on. Check the current conditions on TradingView.

6-step setup

01

Start a plan that includes the webhook

Create your AlertBolt account, then start the 14-day free trial of Pro (the TradingView webhook is included in Pro, Elite and Business).

02

Copy your webhook URL

In the dashboard, open "TradingView Alerts" and copy "Your TradingView Webhook URL" with the Copy button.

03

Choose your channels

On that same page, turn on Telegram (and Discord or Email if you want). Your Telegram account must be connected to AlertBolt: see the Telegram bot guide.

04

Paste the URL in your TradingView alert

In TradingView, create an alert, open the Notifications tab, check "Webhook URL" and paste your link. TradingView webhooks require a paid TradingView plan and two-factor authentication.

05

Write the message

In the Message field, write the text you want to receive. Example: {"message": "{{ticker}} is at {{close}} ({{time}})"}. TradingView variables are replaced when the alert fires.

06

Test it

Create an easy-to-trigger condition, check that the message reaches Telegram, then delete the test alert. The signal counter on the "TradingView Alerts" page confirms it was received.

TradingView variables you can use in the message

{{ticker}}{{close}}{{open}}{{high}}{{low}}{{time}}{{volume}}{{exchange}}

The message can be plain text or JSON. If the JSON has a "message" field, AlertBolt delivers that text; otherwise the JSON is delivered as it is.

What about WhatsApp?

AlertBolt's TradingView webhook delivers to Telegram, Discord, Email and Push, not to WhatsApp. AlertBolt's WhatsApp alerts are created inside AlertBolt itself (Pro, Elite and Business, with a monthly limit). Delivering from a webhook to WhatsApp means going through your own WhatsApp Business API provider, with its message template rules.

Frequently asked questions

How do I send a TradingView alert to Telegram without Make or n8n?

Use an AlertBolt webhook. Copy your personal webhook URL from the "TradingView Alerts" page of your AlertBolt dashboard, paste it in the "Webhook URL" field of your TradingView alert, and turn on Telegram on that same AlertBolt page. There is no workflow, bot token or chat ID to configure by hand.

Which plans include the TradingView webhook?

Pro, Elite and Business. Premium and Freemium do not include it. Pro costs $19.99/month and comes with a 14-day free trial; Elite and Business have a 7-day free trial.

What do I need on the TradingView side?

A paid TradingView plan, because webhook alerts are not available on the free plan, and two-factor authentication enabled on your TradingView account. Check TradingView's own pages for the current plan names and conditions.

Can I send TradingView alerts to WhatsApp with AlertBolt?

Not from a TradingView webhook. Webhook alerts are delivered to Telegram, Discord, Email and Push. AlertBolt's WhatsApp alerts are created inside AlertBolt itself (Pro, Elite and Business, with a monthly WhatsApp limit), not from TradingView.

What message format does the webhook accept?

Plain text or JSON. If your JSON has a "message" field, AlertBolt delivers that text. Any other JSON is delivered as the JSON itself. Use TradingView variables such as {{ticker}}, {{close}} and {{time}} in the message. An empty message is rejected.

Is there a limit on how many TradingView signals I can send?

Yes. Each plan has a monthly TradingView signal limit. Your counter is shown at the top of the "TradingView Alerts" page in your dashboard.

Try the TradingView webhook for 14 days
