Why use an AlertBolt webhook?
TradingView can send a webhook to a URL, but it does not format the message for Telegram or Discord. AlertBolt is the bridge: it receives your TradingView webhook and relays it to Telegram, Discord, Email or Push — the channels you actually check.

5-step setup
Pick a plan that includes the webhook and copy your URL
The TradingView webhook is included in Pro, Elite and Business (not in Freemium or Premium); Pro has a 14-day free trial. In the dashboard, open "TradingView Alerts" and copy your personal webhook URL. It ends with /api/webhooks/tv/u/ followed by your personal key.
Open TradingView and create an alert on your chart
On any TradingView chart, click the alarm icon (⏰) or right-click → "Add alert". Set your condition (e.g. price > 1500).
Paste the AlertBolt webhook URL into the Webhook URL field
In the "Notifications" tab of the TradingView alert dialog, check "Webhook URL" and paste your AlertBolt URL (TradingView requires a paid plan and two-factor authentication for this). Add your message in the "Message" field — use {{ticker}}, {{close}}, {{time}} as needed.
Choose your delivery channels in AlertBolt
On the same "TradingView Alerts" page, under "Notification channels", turn on Telegram, Discord, Email or Push. Each channel must be configured in Settings → Notifications (for Telegram, connect the bot first). All the channels you turn on receive the alert.
Test: trigger a TradingView alert and verify
Create an easy-to-trigger condition temporarily (e.g. price above current +1%). Check that the message arrives on Telegram / Discord. Delete the test alert afterwards.

Frequently asked questions
Does AlertBolt work with TradingView free plans?
Two plans are involved. On the TradingView side, webhooks require a paid TradingView plan and two-factor authentication (check TradingView for the current conditions). On the AlertBolt side, the TradingView webhook is included in Pro, Elite and Business, not in Freemium or Premium. AlertBolt receives the webhook and forwards it to your channels.
What message format does AlertBolt expect from TradingView?
Plain text works. If you send JSON, put the text you want to receive in a "message" field, for example {"message": "{{ticker}} is at {{close}}"}; any other JSON is forwarded as is. Use TradingView's variables like {{ticker}}, {{close}}, {{time}}: TradingView replaces them before sending. An empty message is rejected.
Can I route one TradingView alert to multiple channels at once?
Yes. Once the webhook hits AlertBolt, it fans out to all channels you have enabled: Telegram, Discord, Email and Push simultaneously.
Does this work for Deriv synthetic indices on TradingView?
AlertBolt does not care what the alert is about: it relays any message TradingView sends to your webhook URL. If your TradingView chart shows a Deriv synthetic index, create the alert on it and route it the same way.
How long does it take between TradingView firing and Telegram receiving?
We do not publish a guaranteed delay. AlertBolt acknowledges the webhook right away and then sends the notification through a processing queue; the total time also depends on TradingView and on Telegram or Discord. Test it with your own alert before relying on it for a trade.
